Assignment 2

 I unfortunately got pretty sick this week and was unable to do as much as I would like. The Bookstore is also on back order and I didn’t think it was a good idea to come on campus so I have not been able to get the paper I have been wanting. I did however do one study, and there will be a few more by the end of the weekend. Sorry about the wait. 

Here is an idea of the general size I want to achieve. I’m not sure if I like the pencil. I wish this paper was hot pressed and smoother. 

Love this one and had a lot of fun painting it! It’s done with pen and watercolour. I’m really enjoying the illustrative feel to it.

I like this one the least. I think I over did it with the shading. I need more practice with pen.

Stylistically I think I like the watercolour the best so far. It might just be because it’s colour though. I haven’t done the gouache yet. I think I’ll probably like that one the best once I’ve done it. At least on the small paper. I will have to see how I feel about colour on the larger paper once I have it. I haven’t gotten the larger paper yet just because I want to be feeling 100% before I go on campus. I don’t want to risk anything. 

I do think I could go a little smaller however this was a good test subject.
